Undergraduate/Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students:


International Students that have strong academic achievement can apply for a postgraduate/undergraduate scholarship from the UK government to cover things like course fees and the living costs when you are studying in the United Kingdom. There are Chevening, Euraxess, Commonwealth, Royal Society scholarships and other scholarships from UK universities have been granted for eligible international students.

Affordable Fees & Accommodations:


The UK Government announced (On 21 October), that the tuition fee cap for UK undergraduate students for the academic year 2022-23 would remain at £9,250 to £23,700 a year for subjects with significant laboratory study or workshop content.

Tuition fees for international students are higher than the fees for UK students because the UK Government subsidises the cost of university tuition for students from the UK. International tuition fees are between £13,000 and £16,500 and in some significant laboratory courses may costs up to £27500 for 2022/23 academic year. A full-time postgraduate course usually takes one year to complete.

Booking student accommodation from abroad before you arrive can be difficult but many universities in the UK have their own student halls on campus reserved for first-year students.

The exact cost will be vary depending on exactly where you study, the average living costs are about £10050-£12050. In some areas may cost about £6500-£7500.

Graduate Visa/Post Study Work:


The UK Government has announced (from 1st July 2021) a Graduate visa permission for international students to stay in the UK for at least 2 years (or 3 years for Ph.D. students) after completing a course in the UK if, you studied a UK bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree, or another eligible course for a minimum period with your student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa and then your education provider (such as your university or college) has told you you’ve completed your courses.

In addition to the provision of working part-time during studies, students can work 20 hours and up to full-time when school is out of term. If your dream is to join a UK Universities a Post Study Work (PSW) route is of course a plus point for an international student.


To get a foot in the door of an organisation, many students in the UK look for relevant work experience. Work experience opportunities are available in almost every sector and will vary in length, depending on the organisation. In some cases a placement will be as short as one day; others may last for several months and lead to a permanent position.

Remember that all work experience is valuable and many students are successful in securing a place for several months.
